pumice (2-5 mm) originates from beige-coloured and fine-pored vulcano rock. It is used as pure as seedlings mix in Botanic Gardens Jena by Mr Fehringer, as the he gains the best germination rate with this substrate. However in our new mix, we supplement the Bims with precious 'Zeolith'.
