very large flower, fire-red petals with blue overlay. Mallison chose A. flagelliformis and Heliocereus speciosus as parents, and their positive characters are displayed in this hybrid as it has strong shoots and beautiful flowers. In 1832, the first flowers were displayed to the public at London Flower Show.
