Agave andreae $ Sierra de Coalcoma, Michoacan, MEX, 1400m

|20-30 cm Ø|Narrow leaves with wavy leaf margins, longer spines and teeth. Related to Agave gypsophyla, but with a larger number of leaves than A. gypsophyla [A. Vázquez et al.: Four New Species of Agave (Agavaceae) of the Marmoratae Group, 2013]. Growing solitary, in summer the plants can grow in full sun to half-shady outside in the tub. Flowers orange.

These plants were imported recently from nurserys from the United States, Thailand, or other countries. You will find very pretty plants with typical coloured spines, or ready for flowering. All plants are freshly potted, but may not be rerooted. In some cases there are only very few plants available.
