Lophophora
At first glance: a cactus without spines. That is why the unobtrusive observer means recognizing a living stone. This is less obvious: all members of this genus contain alkaloids, and thus have a strong intoxicating effect. In german the plants are called Schnapsnase, Peotle or Peotl. In Mexico Lophophora is used for shamanic rituals.
